LHR ep33: Return of the JD

Because you demanded it - no, not you, you there in the back, with the weird facial growth - YOU demanded it, so JDWhitee's back to join us for another episode of Lost Hemisphere Radio! This time around we take a few chunks out of No Quarter 37, toss a few lists together, and spend far too long talking about a question from one listener. Just one! Imagine if we'd had TWO people sending in questions!

Will Naaresh inspire JDWhitee to get a plethora of piercings? Will Haley's new theme send Northblade into Storm Strider spasms? Will Gdaybloke actually put a NON theme force on the table to test out the Ogrun Assault Corps? And in the end, what would three guys who don't play Khador do with Strakhov? Tune in to find out! LHR ep32: Wrath pt3

One more time, boys and girls! Gdaybloke and Northblade are back with the third of their triumvirate of Wrath discussions, and we''ll be darned if they aren't dragging the King of All Media through the muck and mire with them as they sully their hands with talk of Cygnar and Khador and what their Wrath releases portend for the forces of Leto and Ayn Vanar.

Recorded on July 15th, LHR ep32 may or may not have been recorded in a snowstorm, and may or may not be infested by audio gremlins because someone fed the mogwai after midnight. You can partake of the wintery wonderland by downloading the episode on iTunes, or by clicking this here link: LINKY!

LHR ep31: Wrath Pt2

Who wants another episode? Oh, sure, why not. Gdaybloke and Northblade are back with the second of their triumvirate of Wrath discussions, this time delving into the Nightmare empire and nattering about Cryx, and then seeing if Gdaybloke's still awake to talk about Menite stuff afterwards. Darn these long, late-night recording sessions!

Recorded on July 2nd, LHR ep31 may or may not be powered by caffiene, fruit loops and whatever Australian candy Northblade's wife managed to smuggle into the country. We admit nothing. You can make up your own mind by downloading the episode on iTunes, or by clicking this here link: LINKY!

LHR ep30: Wrath Pt1

Ladies and Gentlelost, after a hiatus we're back, and ready to celebrate all that is Warmachine: Wrath. Now, full disclosure, we've gone through a few changes behind the scenes and we're still working out out all the kinks as we work to find a new groove and shuffle the formats a tad, but we hope you'll bear with us as we get all of our ducks in a row.

Join us for a new co-host, a new guest, Lock and Load debriefing and a whole bunch of Myrmidons by downloading the episode at iTunes or at this link right here: LINKY!

LHRep29: Say Watt??

One of the coolest things about our rotating guest format is that, odds are, every once in a while we'll end up with someone who actually knows what they're talking about. For episode 29 of everyone's favourite audio iteration of our usual wacky Lost shenanigans, MenothJohn and Gdaybloke are joined by a guest known for his competitive acumen, so naturally we pick his brains while dealing with godawful satellite interwebs lag, and then call in a ringer late in the piece.

LHRep28: UNBOUND... oh, and NQ36

Yay! John's back! The Dynamic Duo of Lost Hemispodcasting, along with their dreamy guest, return to meander their way through the pages of No Quarter #36 (that's three dozen issues - milestone!) and to apply their collective ponderings to Unbound, the new rules for ridiculously large games of Warmachine and Hordes.

You do realise, of course, that Gdaybloke will have an excuse to field 6 (!) Allegiants in an Unbound game? Why, it's enough to make a guy giddy. Tune in and get Lost, people! Download the episode on iTunes, or via this here linky: LINKY!

LHRep27: Palette Cleanser

Not long ago on the Lost Hemisphere blog we discussed the issue of game burnout and ways to avoid it; one method discussed is cleansing the palette - taking a brief hiatus from your normal hobby fascination, indulging in something else, and then coming back to your main game refreshed and revitalised.
In this episode of Lost Hemisphere Radio, aside from the usual Warmachine and Hordes mutterings, Gdaybloke spends some time with pals James and Kevin, taking an overview look at Spartan Games' three fleet games Uncharted Seas, Firestorm Armada and Dystopian Wars, and Soda Pop's super cute Super Dungeon Explore and impending Relic Knights.
